Time can have both positive and negative effects on a critical Hostage incident. Discuss in detail the use of time in a Hostage incident and why most situations would be best handled by “slowing things down”.
As a tactical commander what could you do to reduce the negative effects of time on the hostage negotiation team, the tactical team and the perimeter and command personnel?
