it does not do enough to explore, analyse and evaluate current practices at Tesco. More needs to be done to explore a) what Tesco do and b) whether it is effective (and why). Further, the recommendations section needs to be developed to a much greater extent, with a wider range of recommendations being made and more thoroughly supported with theory or empirical evidence.
In particular, a more detailed discussion of Tesco’s Clubcard system would be helpful – as this is a well-known and effective method of capturing and making use of explicit knowledge.
