You can choose any two leaders (one male, one female) to discuss for this essay as long as they are from the world of work or business (i.e. leaders within work organisations, corporations, trade unions etc).

You will not be assessed on your choice of leaders, but rather on how well you discuss each leader’s perceived attributes with reference to concepts of gendered management and leadership introduced in lectures and seminars during the first half of the module. You should, however, provide reasons for your choice of leader and your own perceptions of their leadership attributes, giving references for your sources of information about your chosen leaders. The essay should also discuss concepts introduced in the lectures and the lecture readings provided.
