Description: Taking the Canberra Bushfires or the Victorian Bushfires as a case study, you are asked to prepare a brief on the management of the recovery phase of a complex event. In that brief you will be required to report to ‘senior management’:
1. Outline the key principles that should guide future management of recovery phases;
2. Identify key strategies required to ensure effectiveness of communities and interagency collaboration in recovery efforts; and
3. Identify how to best evaluate the effectiveness of recovery phase management.
