Essay on a work by Lorna Simpson

Works of art can be subject to many different interpretations. In the first chapter of Interpreting Art, the author gives an extensive rendition of his methodology in interpreting a painting. Based on what you have read, write an essay on a work by Lorna Simpson. Before writing your essay, do some research and look at other works by Lorna Simpson to gain a broader view of her work. You may write your essay on any of the pieces seen in the textbook or video, or select another one of her pieces.
