A literature review summarizes the relevant research on a particular topic (so you’ll need to read some other papers) and then also gives critical feedback and personal opinion. A good example of a review article is the Zatorre 2003 article that we read on perfect pitch. Zatorre summarized the research about perfect pitch then talked about where the research is lacking, where future research could move towards etc.
